A simpler way to reach the next level.
A vertical platform lift carries you and your wheelchair or scooter between levels. Start by evaluating the access route, then compare a lift with a ramp for your home.

Start with the complete access route
Describe where the trip begins and ends, who will use the route and the mobility device involved. Include the approach to the lower stop and the way through the upper entry. These are questions for an evaluation before selecting equipment.
Compare a lift and a ramp at your site
Compare the space available for an access route, the level difference, approaches and landings, and how the route will be used each day. Ask which options warrant further evaluation and what site work each option would involve. A lift or ramp cannot be selected from the height alone.
Bring the information that shapes the evaluation
FRL commonly requests photos and site information early in the process. Bring photos of both levels and the approach, the approximate level difference, wheelchair or scooter details, and the building type. Describe work already planned and name the homeowner or project-team contact. If you already own a lift, include its brand, model and condition so the evaluation can address that equipment.
Connect equipment selection with site coordination
Florida Ramp & Lift is an authorized Harmar dealer and sells, installs and services Harmar vertical platform lifts. Depending on the project, FRL's workflow can include evaluation, equipment selection and quoting, manufacturer drawings, builder or project-team coordination, revisions and clarifications, ordering, site-readiness coordination, installation and post-install service support. Changes to finished heights or an unfinished site can require further coordination before installation. Manufacturer drawings support that conversation; they do not replace engineering or project approval.
Choose the next planning conversation
For a home, continue with residential entry, landing and daily-use questions. If you are building or renovating a home for a client, continue with builder and project-team responsibilities. FRL currently installs vertical platform lifts at residential properties only; for a commercial property, ask about a commercial ramp. Agree FRL's equipment and installation scope and responsibility for supporting work before proceeding. Use the assessment request to describe what you know and what is still unresolved; equipment selection and site fit need confirmation for the actual project.
