Plan a usable route into your business.

Florida Ramp & Lift offers commercial accessibility ramp sales, installation and service; repairs are assessed case by case. An ADA ramp inquiry starts with the actual building use, complete approach and responsible project team; applicable requirements and approvals must be reviewed for the specific project.

Describe the use and the complete approach

Identify the actual building use, project stage and route from arrival to the entrance. Include turns, level changes, the landing and doorway. A builder or designer can also be working on a home; their role does not establish commercial use.

Assign the route interfaces to responsible parties

Identify who coordinates the ramp, entrance and surrounding work. Record which parts are included and which remain unresolved. Manufacturer drawings and equipment information can support coordination; they do not replace engineering or approval.

Review applicable requirements with the project team

The responsible designer or qualified project professional should confirm which requirements apply and which authority administers the project. A ramp product or page label does not establish ADA or code compliance for the whole route. This page does not provide a universal design specification or approval outcome.

Arrange approvals separately from FRL’s equipment scope

FRL does not pull permits. The client and project team arrange applicable permits, engineering and approvals through appropriate qualified or legally authorized parties; not every type of permit has the same eligible applicant. Have current plans and site views ready. When you call or email, we’ll tell you how to send them.
