Bring your front door within reach.
Florida Ramp & Lift offers residential wheelchair ramp sales, installation and service; repairs are assessed case by case. Plan around the entrance you actually use, the route to it and the household’s daily access needs; the particular site and work still need evaluation.
Call or email us ↗Begin with the entrance used in daily life
Describe the route from parking or the walkway to the chosen door. Explain which part of the trip is difficult and how the mobility device is used where relevant. The preferred entrance and the available route should be discussed together.
Include the threshold and space beyond the ramp
Have views of the door, threshold, landing and surrounding approach ready. Identify door swings, turns and unfinished areas. These details prepare the evaluation; they are not instructions to construct a particular slope or landing.
Explain intended changes and duration of use
Tell FRL if the entrance is being altered or the intended use may change. Separate current conditions from planned work. A residential ramp inquiry does not establish which permits or standards apply to the actual property.
Clarify responsibilities before final scope
Identify who can coordinate any supporting work and unresolved approvals. FRL does not pull permits. Start with city and the access problem; for repair, include existing equipment and symptoms. Have photos ready. When you call or email, we’ll tell you how to send them.
